I was coming to say this.Duke beats us and Plays Texas Western for the championship.
That game whoever played it was going to proclaimed racist. Even tho Rupp fought harder than anyone for integration, He is still labeled a racist. So was our program. I would have loved for Duke to carry that.
We were also the first to integrate SEC football. Didn’t matter. They had their villain.
You ok sweetie?Either the 1964 Lima Stadium Disaster or the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. I love Kentucky too but I can't understand choosing to erase an embarrassing or even hurtful moment for Kentucky over saving lives.
Well, unlike yourself, we’re all horrible people who foolishly thought this was just a fun little message board discussion not to be taken too seriously.Either the 1964 Lima Stadium Disaster or the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. I'm thriving, honey. This is what thriving looks like. You ok sweetie?
Virtue signaling is thriving? GotchaI'm thriving, honey. This is what thriving looks like.
You know it! Just turn on the TV.Virtue signaling is thriving? Gotcha![]()
You're welcome darlin.Well, unlike yourself, we’re all horrible people who foolishly thought this was just a fun little message board discussion not to be taken too seriously.
Thank you for sanctimoniously showing us the way.
I would never wish for taking our Final Four victory off the board. I'm not at all convinced Duke receives the smear campaign that was used against Rupp after his passing had they won that game. If I could change one thing in relation to that it seems blatantly obvious to me it would be to win the title game over Texas Western.I was coming to say this.
Beating Duke in the 1966 Final Four was the most damaging win in school history.
I agree. I’d take the title. We’d always end up the villain regardless.I would never wish for taking our Final Four victory off the board. Underrated comment. My Runner Up: Bo Jackson misses the bus and does not play against the Bengals in the playoffs.
Yeah, that’s what I meantHuh? Jackie Smith was long since retired by 82.
The drop he’s known for was against the Steelers in the 70s.
-Pitino says "no" to the Celtics. What would it be?
Obvious one: Pitino puts someone on Grant Hill on the shot.
You'd of preferred Cincy losing to Buffalo a week later? or you say that because of Bos career ending injury ? ..... sad as aside from Barry he was the most exciting runner I ever saw play - freak injury on what looked routine. My Runner Up: Bo Jackson misses the bus and does not play against the Bengals in the playoffs.
This is my answer.Duke beats us and Plays Texas Western for the championship.

I'd rather it never happenedNobody mentioning the "Bluegrass Miracle" vs LSU in CWS?
Laettner misses the shot. That’s my pick. That or Nazr makes a FT to have Epps 3 win it for UK in 97.What would it be?
Obvious one: Pitino puts someone on Grant Hill on the shot.
That’s a good one. I’d love to see Bo’s career play out. He could have been a dual HOF caliber player in both sports. My Runner Up: Bo Jackson misses the bus and does not play against the Bengals in the playoffs.
That’s a close 2nd for me as well. I would have loved that team to finish 40-0. It felt like destiny all year. For me it's Wisconsin. The Duke loss was more heartbreaking but less regrettable, if that makes sense.
That ain’t no lie! Dale Brown was a “3 and D” dude long before it was fashionable.1.Keith Bogans ankle injury. Sure Crean had Wade, but we were the superior team. Crean is still probably getting tv gigs because of that one game.
2. Dale Brown shoulder injury colliding with the scorers table against Michigan in the '93 Final Four. Downtown Dale Brown was more than a shooter. He was our best defensive player by far. Losing him and then Mash to foul trouble spelled doom for us.
Bruce Jenner winning the decathlon….. Ouch….
Oh, and the Major League Baseball expansion…. Simply watered down the game….
