More the level Nike level. They aren't putting their designers on this at Rutgers. We need to move up in stature before that happens. Schiano doesn't like change. I doubt we see any changes until a new coach comes in and wants to distance himself from everything Schiano. Uniforms are always a part of that, unless you are at some iconic program like USC or something.
Didn’t Schiano design the Kyle Flood era Unis before he left in that Fateful February?

It’s pretty clear from the photos here that this year’s the “RUTGERS” letters and the number are larger/more thick (the white area). Look at the bottom foot of the “4” closely.
I'm just going based off what I was told by people within the program, and they said it could be because of the new photographer they got and lighting, but it's the exact same uniforms lol.

Greg was the coach when the uniforms that know one like were designed. He just did not stick around long enough to coach the players wearing them.

Both Greg and Flood should stay away from uniform design. Neither are qualified for it. Our teams by and large have awful uniforms across the board.

I thought Greg had the original concept, however, Kyle made changes and had final approval? Maybe I'm wrong.
Didn’t Flood wanted to switch the unis up but Nike told them they had to wear All Salmons, All Whites, and All Blacks?

It could’ve worked if they could’ve switch things up: Salmon/ White, White/ Black, Black/ Salmon, etc. Maybe fix the numbers better?

Who knows.

Conservative with a dash of flash. Timeless. That's the formula. For schools outside of blue bloods that never change their uniforms for obvious reasons, that formula works. Schools like Uva, Unc, to name a few, they get their uniforms right across the board.

The best uniforms I have seen Rutgers wear were the Adidas lacrosse uniforms. Those were the best uniforms in college sports.
