Did he ever play in the NBA? If not did he ever sign an NBA contract? If no to the first two questions, would he still have any college eligibility left since he only played here for a year ? He is clearly the man for La Familia!

Archie had talent but was a little raw. And the team he played on at UK he was just thrown out there and asked to make something happen and never really developed into a complete player.

On the NBA side. With their rosters being top heavy a lot of teams choose to go with younger cheaper players to fill a roster than mid-tier guys. You see several guys that could be decent role players forced to go overseas or stay in college because the money just isn't there. Not sure if Archie fits that mold but I do know its only going to get harder for guys like him as more and more teams fight to stay under the second apron.

Ever heard of google? Always strikes me as a bit odd when people start threads asking for info they could get even faster with a quick google.

Archie was a first round draft pick so, yes, he obviously played in the NBA. Although he didn’t stick for long:

I see your point but Google has ruined the art or conversation. This board should be a place where people want to come and talk UK things related and not just read stats off a screen. Try being engaging like humans were designed to be.

You should start a thread about that.

I always thought guys like Goodwin should have stayed at UK for at least a second year. He was a good player, but lacked some maturity (which is normal for a freshman). He could have spent more time developing and more time being "the man". He would have likely been a higher pick in the draft after that which would have earned him more money.

Cal pushed him out because he wanted the Harrison twins to start and a new locker room culture.

There's that google troll. Maybe he posed this question for a conversation? I am fairly certain that he could have looked this up but wanted a conversation. If someone asks you a question in real life, do you tell them to google? I would hope not, otherwise, you would be one lonely person.

You realize we were both here before the migration? I was forced to have a new username. I was Lakercat before. Besides, what does the join date have to do with determining who is trolling? A lot of long term members have recent join dates. Did you think this through?
