As a commentary, it is ludicrous that one judge can make up whatever rules they want on a whim like this.
It’s confusing to follow but Hall has already been included/addressed in a separate injunction than that Colorado one from this weekend. He was in the one with UC/Xavier guys like a week or so before.

Exactly right. This is a huge issue across the country now on a lot of topics. We need to actually enforce disbarment of these robes who believe they rule the country.
If the NCAA has to abide by the judges ruling, ok. But the NCAA can take a stand and say X player can play but that doesn't mean the team he plays on has to be included in post season play. Look at Vandy football as an example. They were left out of the playoffs I think because Pavia fought for a 7th!!!!!!!! year to play college football. Now I know the playoff committee is supposedly separate from the NCAA but they have to have some ties in there somewhere. That was a coordinated effort to keep them out at 10-2 in the SEC.

IMO it’s because Judges stopped enforcing the law. When you can go shopping for the ruling you want, they are not basing their decision on law. Judges today are ruling based on opinion, corruption and politics. As another poster said. Disbar a few and maybe this crap stops??? Every time Tennessee wants something they go Judge shopping.
Judges used to have integrity. They don’t anymore.

Totally agree, you see it in politics on a regular basis even to the extend that they ignore established law and the Supreme Court.
Problem is judges aren’t the ones suppose to pass laws, they‘re supposed to rule on existing law.

It works the exact same way it always has. What would you disbar them for? This is what people always say when the rulings go against what they want but courts are generally consistent and if this is truly not legal it can be appealed in moved up the ladder. Same as it ever was. It can be frustrating but changing it because of this seems silly.
I think a lot of people are forgetting that the courts blocked student loan forgiveness and the Mar a Lago cases when they are upset about one judge making big decisions.
No, judges rule based on existing law, a restraining order is part of existing law. Judges don’t make law, they enforce law And make rulings based on existing law. Unfortunately some judges try to legislate from the bench and this is not their job. A judge issue a restraining order based on the law, he didn’t just make a new law.

So basically every player will now enter the portal every year just in case there’s a rule change that appeals to them later on. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. A single looney judge can over ride and entire countries legal system.
This was always going to be the case until they have multi year contracts. I can't imagine how much worse this is for the coaches.
