This gives UK some toughness if we land him. Izzo helped mold him so that is always good.

If he wasn’t already in the portal before this ruling he can only play for Michigan State

I heard tonight Kohler has a received a waiver before the ruling,so he's good to go.
This sounds made up - why is that? He played 4 full years. Getting this kid feels dirty. He's a 4 year Izzo kid. God college hoops is gross these days.

Getting a player that spent 4 years under Izzo at an elite school like Michigan State would be a great thing.
kohler would be a great fit. knows he isnt a superstar so there is no diva behavior or baggage. will work hard and give us toughness and rebounding inside. with him this slides ndiaye to back up 4 and mcbide to the back up 3. kam can be the back up 2. now we arent as dependent on hawthorne and morton for production.

For sure. Physical toughness was my maine concern coming in and this woudl fix that with some big bonus skill on top of it. And especially if Big Franck is not healthy. The Florida boys will have some resistance with Kohler around.
Show him Andrew Carr footage from Popes first team and try to sell him on that with a little less outside shooting
Trilly saying Popes primary focus right now is Hall and Mitchell and Mitchell is looking at UK,, LSU and return to Missouri..
