I am tired of "Stairway to Heaven" and "Freebird" ... both great songs, but vastly overplayed.
Cmon, man. I’ve heard Freebird about 100,000 times in my life and I’m hopeful I live long enough to hear it 100,000 more. One of the most honest and relatable songs about the male/female dichotomy there has ever been, all tangled into a web of self-reflection and mortality.

"Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker. I used to be a huge Old Crow Medicine Show fan, and even their version got old. However, Darius Rucker singing it just feels sacrilegious.

Many here might put me on ignore, but I think playing the 2001 Theme at the 8:00 timeout in the second half of games at Rupp has become a turn-off. Sorry ... just being real ... 😎

Anything from the Beastie Boys. Always felt like it has to be some kind of joke that I missed out on.

I know this will be an extremely unpopular opinion, but I never liked Van Halen.
"know this will be an extremely unpopular opinion, but I never liked Van Halen." I'm with you on that. As an "old school" guitarist, I can appreciate the virtuosity, but Eddie's solo work never made melodic sense to me. And spare me the David Lee Roth shrieking and squealing.

I'll start:
- Green Day. Never understood the hype.
- Black Crows. They had one hit --and it was a cover.
- 4 Non-Blondes. Should be obvious.
I have at least 100 groups/songs I'd throw in the trash before those 3. The Black Crows had a full album of hits actually.
Hit Singles
    • "Hard to Handle" (Otis Redding cover) – Reached No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
    • "She Talks to Angels" – Reached No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
    • "Jealous Again" – Major rock radio hit.
    • "Twice as Hard" – Opening track and charting single.
    • "Seeing Things" – Charting radio single.
Btw...."Rocky Top" sucks way more than any of those songs.

To my view, many of their deeper cuts are their best songs ... "Strutting Blues" and "Stare It Cold" are my favorites by the Crowes.

Also probably an unpopular opinion to some on here, but I HATE hearing My Old Kentucky Home prior to UK home football games.
It's a slow, boring and depressing way to kick off a football game. Does nothing for the energy level in the stadium.
Play it at the end and it's just fine.

The song Fast Car being sang by Luke Combs. Oh my God man, if I hear that song come on I can’t turn the radio off quick enough. It’s so so so so bad. It’s literally one of the worst things I’ve ever heard. Original is descent. But he absolutely ruined whatever it had to begin with.
