Would love to have him but I think Tyson fits us better right now. Wing is our weakest spot. (I consider Milan a 4.)

Echoing some of the comments in here, but I feel Milan will play the 3 with some switchability with Kam at the 2/3. Need some more physicality at the 4, McBride is probably the more ‘surefire’ 4 man right now with Ndiaye still being a question mark coming internationally

Having a final roster spot that we can add to is a good place to be in. Undoubtedly, we will have a few names on the short list and I think Coach Pope knows enough about what he has already got to figure out who would fit best from a chemistry point of view.

I think a frontcourt addition is a no brainer add. A good, solid 4 - 5 would be ideal, I think.

Kohler is a very attractive potential add, the rebounding, length, additional offensive firepower, defensively, he checks all the boxes as far as I am concerned. He held his own playing for the Utah Jazz Summer League team - alongside Peterson. He had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block across 22 minutes of action on July 6 in the win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

I think he fits exactly what we could use. Size, rebounding, solid offensive game, active and hustling, he could be a nice chemistry add for this team. He nearly averaged a double double last year for Michigan State. It just fortifies our front court and builds on emphasizing defense and rebounding to go with the length this year.

Plus, let's get serious, if we really really want him,....

Just make him an offer ($$) he can't refuse.

This is Kentucky basketball, we shouldn't let anyone outbid us for a guy we really feel can make a big difference. He definitely puts us in a solid top 10 - top 15 team slot or better preseason.

I say let's close this one out.

Sounds good to me for that last spot.

This also makes Kam a luxury, as I do not want to wait around and see how he does in terms of recovery.

Moreno - Kepnang - Kohler - Potter
Kohler - McBride - N'Diaye
Milan - Hawthorne - Noah
Wilkins - Kam Williams - Mason Williams
Diallo - Mason Williams - Morton

That's a really good starting five and would be top 10 preseason.

Wrong. He was 3 Jefferson 4 and Buchanan the 5
Actually Milan and Jefferson kinda interchangeably played both roles. Otzelberger would often have Jefferson guard the 3 spot on defense but play the 4 on offense, and vice versa for Milan.

Milan has played plenty at both forward spots. As for which he plays best, it kinda depends which end of the court he’s on. His offensive skills say 3, but defensively he’s more suited for the 4.

Again watch a game. He will play the 3 mostly for us. It’s where he is best suited. He also played 3 for isu mainly
Yeah and he’s a starter 3 in the NBA as well. Not even a question watching him play in the games.

If this ruling somehow stands then sign him or Mitchell up. Either one would make us a legit team imo.
This. Pope needs to take out a loan if needed. Adding Kohler puts UK in title contention. This is Mark Pope's chance to break through. I am going to get sick to my stomach if in two weeks Pope comes out and says something stupid like, "We like our roster" after not adding anyone.

Yeah, it’s tough because nobody knows how it’s gonna play out, but we damn well better have one of them locked up in case it happens. We saved a roster spot for something like this. Use it.

If you Google it, it says Jefferson was a starter at the 4 at St Mary's and Iowa St.

I really like kam but we're going nowhere with him as a 4. He's only there because he cant dribble. Now he's down an entire off-season and won't be able to work on it.

Hopefully we have enough juice after mom to get this done.

If u can sign another starter u do it. This team at present isn't a final four contender, no matter what the Popettes say. Add this guy or another starter impact player? Well then they may be in that higher tier.

Pope needs to win something that matters n year 3 and no, a sweet 16 doesnt move the needle Popettes. Sorry. I mean sec regular season or second tourney or make a final four. If he loses a 1 possession game n elite 8 even thats progress.

Still would prefer hall since Kam is hurt. He is instant offense
Hall, Milan and Wilkins should be a big offensive threat
If Pope goes after this guy over Mitchell, that tells me kepnang is hurt again like kam.
