What is wrong with you? How could this ruling do anything but hurt UK? We have 1 roster spot and there are now thousands of players available, some that were great last year, for hundreds of other schools.

A dude that averaged 18 at Mizzou can’t beat out guys from Furman, James Madison, some rando Euro team that cooked freaking Kyle Wiltjer once, Tulane, Wazzu, or whatever obscure place Pope cobbled this group together from. For sure, a guy that averaged 18 on a team about as good as UK in the same league. Yep. No room for him. Hell, there’s a solid chance he’d be one of the three best players.

Over Tyson? Tyson is awful on defense and was way overmatched at UNC mainly due to he doesn’t like the big time pressure apparently. Now if u meant Mitchell then yes he’s an upgrade but we just don’t have the room for him unfortunately.
Seems like SF/PF is the focus, maybe indicative of a lag in development from Hawthorne? But definitely seems like the 15th addition will be a depth piece rather than a ‘star’

The spots isn’t the issue. They are going to let teams go over the 15 number from what I’ve seen. These guys are going to be looking for massive last pay days and roles promised.

i’ve seen absolutely nothing suggesting that the 15 player limit no longer applies.
Someone had posted the court stuff and it had it in there. It’s all going to be contested so anything could change. But they have to open spots for them. They did it for Covid too.
Heard the same thing that they could be altering the amount of roster spots for the upcoming season. But have to agree that most will be coming back with the sole intention of getting the biggest check
Yea no reason not to go to highest bidder biggest role. It’s the absolute last shot at a payday. Some people just can’t use common sense.
Alex Afari has played all LBer positions. Probably would fit somewhere on this defense.

Honestly was anyone really asking for this 5&5 buisness. I don’t hate the concept but it seems implementing has been chaotic
Probably starting 4 if he’s as good as last year but could also see him get a ton of sponge minutes when Moreno comes out

If Saunders goes back to college, it's BYU, not Kentucky. I would love to have him, but it's not happening. And damn, it might change the way some of these jerks think about Mormons, and Mark Pope, if he did.
