I think a lot of people's opinions are impacted by her short hairstyles, when they think about attractiveness.

Yep, its a photo from a magazine.

I wasnt trying to say she was stunning or anything, just that she didnt have the looks of 'an absolute dog'...though it appears you disagree.
Thats cool- beauty is subjective.

I agree that beauty is subjective - for the most part.

Seems to me that attraction to molly ringwald is more of a kink than a subjective viewpoint on beauty.

Bit of an exaggeration, but she was not very pretty. Certainly nothing like they were trying to make for out to be.

I think she was a kind of muse for John Hughes. She wasn’t typically playing roles where her character was a beauty. Certainly not in Sixteen Candles or Pretty in Pink.

She was the popular mean girl in Breakfast Club, but I could see her that way IRL. There were plenty of popular girls in my HS years much less attractive than Molly Ringwald.

Unairbrushed mid Molly Ringwald was practically a beauty queen compared to even an airbrushed Mare Winningham, who is just odd and not in a good way.
