Bama Coach Nate Oats 51, marries former staff member who is 31. Would you recommend an iron clad prenup ?

Not only that but I wouldn't cohabitate with her. Keep the state out of it as much as possible. Let her stay in the carriage house out back. Have a religious ceremony with no official marriage certificate. Make her sign a contract that she will never pursue alimony but if there is a divorce, you include a $1 million dollar payout to her. She has to sign it.

If she refuses, move on to the next woman. 31 is no spring chicken and she won't find a better deal than that.

31 not spring chicken? This 80 year old certainly feels that is so. As I’ve aged I have learned that any adjective used to describe age (spring chicken, middle age, older, elderly, etc.) is solely related to the age of perso describing another. I loved the description of middle age for a male was when you see a woman in her mid forties crossing the street with her twenty year old daughter you suddenly realize they both look hot.

No shot in hell she agreed to anything other than half.

What is the exiting wife walking with? I mean he’s made some decent pocket jingle recently.

Overall no issues if everyone is happy.

Not sure why general culture/society gets weird with age gaps.

We don’t have this 9 billion people civilization because everyone dated near age range or stuck with the first one.

When I was at UK, my mom told me if I hung out at the Newman Center there would be better odds of me ending up with a good Catholic girl (Billy Joel would seemingly call that an oxymoron). I get guys want to date or marry younger women, but if I was single, my lady friends would be in my age group. You may able able to hangs with the woman who is 20 years younger when you are in your fifties but at some point her motor is going to move faster than your motor. I know men who did the younger wife when in their 50s. Some get near 70 and wish their wife was not so young.

Being that it's Alabama, there's a connection in the family tree somewhere.

She is about a 5 on the Richter Scale. Honestly, for a dude with Oats money I thought she would be a hotter 31 year old. That chick has tank written all over her by around 40

spot on assessment. I mean if you’re gonna blow up your family and betray the person who was by your side on your way up, at least get someone smoking hot

I'm a confirmed (haha) heathen, but we may have crossed paths at the Newman Center depending on our respective ages. Free food during finals was awesome. Father Dan and Father Walt are the two I remember.

The Newman Center had a Sunday $1 spaghetti and salad dinner when I was at UK. Lived on Rose so it was an easy stumble.

Remember 1 guy who was there every week and brought his own silverware and name brand salad dressings.
