Based on that list two sum out: US Steel and Hershey. National brands based in PA.
Of course, if it was Hershey, and PSU blew a lead, the conclusion would be "they melted".
US Steel on a lineman--that works

The majority of people don’t even know who or what Cencora is. There’s no better way to make everyone aware than to put a Cencora patch on the PSU jersey for a boat load of sponsored money. They have the deepest pockets. Make it happen Kraft.
When was the last time you saw a Cencora-labeled product on a shelf? There is a reason they don't advertise, outside of trade publications.

Exactly. Get the word out! 😆 You missed my sarcasm in the post apparently.

Interesting that Army has a sponsor when athletes/cadets cants accept any NIL. Guess that money goes to the US Government
I assume the money can be used to fund their athletic teams, travel, equipment, training tables, and facilities

Has to be a somewhat older listing, as the #6 largest listed, Rite Aid Corporation, was in bankruptcy and finished their store liquidations in Oct. 2025.

Maybe #7-20 are even worse off. That is what we get at dear old state.

Dude. Are you trying to kill off some of our fanbase? The same ones that had issues with the necklines and sleeves being a different color, names on the back, a subtle Nike swoosh on the jerseys, or a bowl patch added for one game, will have a stroke if we have a corporate logo on the jerseys. In case you haven’t noticed, we aren’t a fanbase that adapts to anything new very well (or at all),

Our fan base overwhelmingly has a good sense of taste and style. This patch on a jersey is just another symbol of the rampant greed and insatiable appetite for even more money. It’s very sad.

Why not have it all? Wear white uniforms at home and put computer generated logos on them like they do on the field. Then you can change them constantly based on who pays the most.

It is sad, but it is an inevitable occurrence in the new "college" football.

Only $6 MM annually. Not surprising. Busey Bank ain’t Chase ($17 MM) or SoFi ($18-20 MM). And in football, Illinois ain’t T™️osu or nd.

Where will PSU fail fall? 😞
This will actually be quite interesting to see where corporate America values PSU vs ND, OSU and Illinois.

Note that Chase has its HQ in Columbus, which is one reason for the sponsorship. That's one of the issues with PSU sponsorships--very few homegrown or hometown major businesses.

We won’t like this, but we need to copy this immediately.

I'm old enough to remember plain uniforms with no names much less than advertising. Most student athletes actually went to class and got legitimate degrees. I even remember a player being kicked off the team for taking a suit from an agent. We now live in Bizzarro World.
