This is the first time in 8 years that the US team won the tournament. Maybe a few teams were weak., but not all 5. And the margins of victory says we were substantially better than all the teams. I think we are significantly better than last year.

The University of Providence-Montana is a NAIA school which is generally considered the equivalent of D3, possibly D2 for the best programs. I'm sure Rutgers is gonna be better with coach Redus, but very hard to come to conclusions from this weak competition

The advantage I see is that we have so many new faces that got to play extra games with each other.
