How would you rank these in order of importance?

I believe we'll be better this year without doubt. How much better (and actually finishing off close games) depends on a few obvious things that need to get better. Which are most important? What did I leave off? I'm going to spit some out in random order, then answer my own question to rank the importance.

A. Improved defensive scheme/coaching
B. K1 staying healthy
C. K1 improved decision-making and passing accuracy
D. Offensive Line improvement
E. Lebby/offensive coaches making better ingame decisions (especially end of game decisions like NOT CALLING 3 PASSES when we need to run out the clock for F*CKS SAKE)

My answer:

B. Kamario is the key on offense, obviously. Have to have him in there to have a chance.
A. Defense has to be MUCH better. I think they will be.
D. OL has to give him a few seconds, plus running game will be key.
E. The coaches have to help out, put Kamario in good situations, and not give away games.
C. I'm not super worried about his passing accuracy. It would be nice, but not absolutely critical to success.

A and C. B has to happen for C to matter. If D doesn't happen, C will help a lot. I have no hope for E.

Maybe it's my maroon glasses, but I do see Lebby learning from his mistakes. Coaching hires, recruiting, it seems like he's getting a little better each year to me... I think.

But we do need to see vast improvement there. Playcalling has been "questionable" at best sometimes. The end of the first half of the UGA game almost drove me to the breaking point. Shitt, thinking about that and the 4th quarter collapses make me rethink... I may need to move that up my list.

I sound like a broken record but I have always placed a high priority on on-the-field leadership . I hope Kamario and a couple of defensive guys take on those roles . I'm optimistic they will.......not "wooly" but optimistic .

It is all moot if D is not true. He won't stay healthy or have time for improved decision making and accurate throws. If our line has 1 or 2 human turnstiles, Lebby's play calling will not matter.
I guess I am saying, we won 5 games and could or "should" have won a couple more with last year's OL... so even just some improvement there - which I do expect - should be enough for the offense to roll with K1 back there.

I'm not disagreeing that it needs to improve, just thinking we could theoretically get by there but a couple of those other things absolutely have to happen.

If K1 doesn't stay healthy, the rest of the items are irrelevant. We ain't 6 winning games if AJ is QB1 for more than 2.
My B & C are almost interchangeable
E - I fear that Lebby is gonna do what Lebby does & we just have to overcome it. Kinda like Kiffin going for it on 4th down be damned instead of sometimes taking the free 3.

F - Improved all-around Defense (personel, schemes & Coaching) period.

IU beat OSU by scoring 13 pts. Their QB (# 1 overall draft pick) was 15/23, 1 TD, 1 INT (Seriouslly, these are Jay Barker stats).

The best thing Lebby can do for his QB is a shut-down Defense. Defense wins championships, everyone knows that.

My order is:

D
F - Solid Running Game
A
B
E
C - Because I don't think it was as bad as people make out. He definitely showed improvement as he was on the field.

I'm Missouri on this topic. It is rare that I can legitimately claim that I spoke out loud what to do in a game situation, in real-time, a coach did the exact opposite, and I, a never been football coach at any level, was exactly right. This has happened more than once with Lebby. It's inconceivable at the SEC level to do some of the things he has done.
