ESPN has him listed as an EDGE. When did he make the switch? And will this ultimately mean anything for us or will he just be a depth player?

I hav yet to see a guy switch midway in their career and thrive. Guys that switch early tend to have better outcomes.
Cody Glenn (RB to LB) is the only one off the top of my head who I can think of that had solid success. But that's it....
Cam Jurgens too, not Off to Def, but was quite a switch.
Stanley Jean Baptiste did pretty well switching to corner from WR

Jurgens didn't play a down at TE and switched real early, but I agree with you. He would count imo.
What? No Kong mentioning the glorious Heisman year of HH after he switched to TE?
FWIW last I knew Haarberg was still listed on the Carolina Panthers roster as a TE. I don’t expect him to make the active roster but I expect him to land on someone’s practice squad if not theirs.
There are so many guys who are great athletes who sometimes just don’t get the right opportunity. Jurgens owes Frost bigly.
what a crap husker fans you are.. HH is one of the most athletic guys we have ever had, who gave it his all, and whom the coaches squandered.. and yes he'll make a team somwewhere.

Life is rarely fair to people. He got a free education and signed to an NFL team if even for a little while. IF he wants to work in Nebraska someday he’ll have a multitude of people who would hire him based on his time with the Huskers. Everyone should get shafted so badly. Pennsy is one of the best dudes posting on here. His problem isn’t with Haarberg. It was with Frost.
Edit: I’m a big Haarberg fan. I recognized his shortcomings as Frost’s QB but I also believe he could have won as many or more games than Raiola. He’s not an NFL QB and Dana put him in a spot to at least get a shot at the league. Instead of looking at the negatives all the time, it might be good to look at the opportunities he has now because of his time in Lincoln.
I am not calling out HH. I am spoofing Kong’s man crush on him. And even that is meant as just some friendly needling for humor’s sake. Chill …
if you want to go after Kong, you have to pick something else to go after in my opinion. You made more sense complaining about the coaching staff
See, there is your problem. I wasn’t “going after” Kong or anyone. It was a lighthearted spoofing and poking fun at Kong, knowing that he has a sense of humor and would take it as just a bit of fun. You on the other hand just need to chill.
But I do thank you for your expert policing of this thread. Where would we be without your moral guidance?
And we only had to watch 2 seasons of god awful snapping. Though it worked out for the Eagles and for Cam.
