No one was ever charged, but were there ever any strong suspects and why/how this was done?

I thought they did make at least one arrest maybe of a copy cat. Domestic terrorism directed against BIG PHARMA. Say what you want about Tylenol, it’s way safer than aspirin for pain relief.

I listen to a decent amount of true crime podcasts while working during the week. There are some interesting theories who was responsible. I personally think it was probably some local psycho that was either jailed on a different charge, or passed away. That loser that sent a ransom note to Johnson and Johnson who ended up doing time is very likely to be the guy.

It’s why we have to fight our way through tamper proof wrappers/sealers on everything. Who is to say that the cyclospora epidemic isn’t narco terrorists or China attacking our food supply. Their agents have been caught bringing in disease agents that would devastate some of our crops.

A pretty good acquaintance of mine writes above the fold investigation pieces for the Chicago Tribune, won part of a Pulitzer recently. She wrote a piece a couple years ago identifying a guy by name who is/was the primary suspect - he did it and got away with it type of primary - but I believe he’s dead now. She had a podcast series too as I recall.

I have no links sorry.

Don’t be a stranger. Love your input even though we sometimes disagree.

This happened in my neighborhood where I grew up. I remember it as a kid being on the news and having to take our Tylenol bottles at home and checking the numbers or the label, something like that.

We actually briefly cover this case in one of the classes that I teach.

The guy likely responsible is dead. Still a fascinating story. Few have access to KCN, so the list was short.

It's the Chinese Communist Party that is the big problem, not the everyday people there. They are fed all kinds of propaganda about the US being bad too. They don't like their government anymore than we do.. the only thing I despise is Chinese business practices.. it's well known in all of Asia to be cheap garbage and they will screw you over the first chance they get. I wouldn't do business with them period.

The biggest issue is them using children to do factory work and I’m referring to kids under 10

I don't know.. they have a lot of people out of work, I doubt they have that many children doing factory work.. I'm not opposed to making kids do some work.. no problem with putting a kid under 10 to work for 4 hours a day.. life isn't about 16 hours of playtime.

Even with the decrease in employment of their new “middle class”, they’re still using child labor and forced incarcerated labor.
I don’t believe I said any different. I’m just not gonna celebrate it like some kind of great human accomplishment

Same is true of Iran and Russia.
