Man, I hope that he gets to play!
I like the rec specs. Kinda gives me The Dream vibes. If he is 50% as good as Dream the Rockets are probably happy.
It was almost guaranteed that somebody would take a chance on him with the way he finished up last year. Hope he does well; good luck Oscar.

Sometimes I wonder if people forget that Oscar was the national player of the year in 2022.
Shabazz Muhammad was born in California.
And he was exactly one year older than his claimed age, and he might not even have been aware of it. His parents were athletes, it seems like they did it because they knew the potential competitive advantages.
You're not completely wrong, though. There have been some extreme cases in soccer, and it's been an issue with Dominican baseball players.
