Powell? I can’t even say his name. He's dead to me.
Powell? I can’t even say his name. He's dead to me.
I nearly got banned for questioning it…Yea it is what it is really
But the asking for $$ on this board confused and shocked me
That's why I asked. He looks a bit heavy. That’s being kind.Clown show. One look at Whitehead the other night and there’s no way he was ever playing. He appears to be extremely out of shape
i mean still in 20's so not old at all if u think that is old we are all dead haha.. im 45 and feel lovelyBut what if they are? They get old just like everyone else does.
Yea whitehead is only 31. Poor guy looks 50i mean still in 20's so not old at all if u think that is old we are all dead haha.. im 45 and feel lovely
But if you haven’t played serious ball, you can’t just flip a switch and go back to your college form, which some people here seem to expect.i mean still in 20's so not old at all if u think that is old we are all dead haha.. im 45 and feel lovely
All of these guys have been playing pro ball. Who on the team is working a desk job lol please tell usBut if you haven’t played serious ball, you can’t just flip a switch and go back to your college form, which some people here seem to expect.
Top-flight pro ball? Hardly. All of these guys have been playing pro ball. Who on the team is working a desk job lol please tell us
So there's a level of pro-ball where you get out of shape? LOL Think about what you're saying. PRO ball.Top-flight pro ball? Hardly.
Oh I’m thinking….And not expecting these guys to be anything like they were when they played for the Hall. And let’s not forget they haven’t exactly practiced much together. So there's a level of pro-ball where you get out of shape? LOL Think about what you're saying. PRO ball.
Brodie makes that layup, Hall goes up 2 and maybe looking at the rubber match tomorrow night. Tough loss.Better effort. Nelson played well. Isaiah on the court, even injured and not in good shape, was a lift. He had 17 & 9 in limited minutes. They had a chance with the score tied in the 4th and Brodie missed a wide open layup then got beat on defense leading to a wide open 3. That was a 5-point swing and Syracuse grabbed the momentum and hit 2 back breaking 3s to make it a 9-point lead and it was over.
Ant Nelson playing great. I wish he stayed all 4 year
Pitino just did it, though not in front of a crowd. Our old friend Dylan Addae-Wusu even played. What kind of limits exist on scrimmages by the ncaa? Would be awesome to stage an annual alumni game vs. the current roster. Great way to engage alumni, build culture and generate NIL

Nice idea, but maybe a cocktail hour with the formers would raise more NIL $$$. After watching TBT, first thought is the "scrimmage" would have to be free. What kind of limits exist on scrimmages by the ncaa? Would be awesome to stage an annual alumni game vs. the current roster. So pro athletes should be significantly more out of shape than amateur athletes. Got it.Oh I’m thinking….And not expecting these guys to be anything like they were when they played for the Hall. And let’s not forget they haven’t exactly practiced much together.
By the way, what pro leagues were the Hall In guys playing in?So pro athletes should be significantly more out of shape than amateur athletes. Got it.
Off the top of my head, Canada, Israel, G-League, Spain, Czech Republic and England for startersBy the way, what pro leagues were the Hall In guys playing in?
Being asked to donate so a handful of former players who are all playing professionally can play in a tournament with a $2 million prize pool was pathetic. If they can’t put together the money on their own then don’t play in the tournament, pretty simple.I nearly got banned for questioning it…
All of which are a step down from the Big East when they were youngerOff the top of my head, Canada, Israel, G-League, Spain, Czech Republic and England for starters
Even if that were true, how does that have anything to do with being winded and overweight and obviously out of shape? These are PRO ATHLETES in their 20's and early 30's who are exercising for a living, not sitting at desks. I don't understand what we are arguing about. I think it's unbelievable that I look better at 40 than Isaiah does at 31 when he plays a sport professionally for a job and was an elite level athlete. That's all.All of which are a step down from the Big East when they were younger
If you think Spanish 1st division is below big east you are overvaluing the big eastAll of which are a step down from the Big East when they were younger
Not to mention the G League and the CEBLIf you think Spanish 1st division is below big east you are overvaluing the big east
