I bet some of the space stocks (non-SPCX) will be good long-term buys. SPCX is just sucking the air out of the space right now.

PlanetLabs and BlackSky are on my watchlist.
SPCX has come back to earth as well (thank you, thank you).

The entire space is crazy expensive.

NFLX getting spanked on earnings. Down 10%

one year chart is hot garbage.

getting into value territory.

STDN IPO coming very soon….Small Modular nuclear reactor fuel specialist. Seems like in five to ten years it might wind up a big winner. Tiny current revenues but seems to finally be ramping up.
I got shut out as my IPO request wasn’t filled. Might be a stock worth watching as it might be the only energy source with bipartisan support.

I'm watching as well. Hoping to buy the typical IPO dip!
Down almost 30% from the IPO price. Wow. I’m looking for something “cheap” that can go 10X within a 10 years holding period so took a small amount at the discounted price…now at 10.60/sh. Nuclear sector got clobbered today so maybe just bad timing.🤷‍♂️ In 1999, unprofitable companies were all the rage.🤣

MSFT: looks like 2029 might be the stock’s big up year as they curtail cap X spending….that is if their moat holds til then.

Still not selling fuel to an actual operating reactor. Couple years away at least.

That's a long time for a stock to just hang out.

Interesting in the long term, but I wouldn't do much more then dipping a toe right now.

I dipped just a pinky toenail and will try to follow it closely now. It should be good for a hype-mania run or two or three after AI becomes relatively boring in around 2030.

If I had guts I would buy Beyond Meat stock at .60/sh. I’ve had a couple of their grocery products and they are good…just a tad expensive especially in this K shaped economy and their revenue actually declined in’25 from ‘24. Their Balance Sheet may be cholesterol free but it has plenty of issues as debtholders are kinda their priority these days.

If a pinky toe is in now. Id probably add as it continues to drop. Build a position so that when the turn comes you are in.

Only a $2b market cap. And it already has $250mil in order backlog.

I’ll have to remind myself to look for a new bargain price in mid January. Not sure why it couldn’t even hold the IPO price for a couple of days at least…acknowledging that the nuclear subsector of stocks did just get bigly revalued.

Saw Cathie Wood just bought a bunch of XE which also is selling below its IPO (was in April 2026) price.

XE up today. Looking for stocks that could do a 5X or 10X within 10 years and Jersey Mikes ain’t it (unless they’re going entertain the patrons with Chinese Kung Fu fighting robots).🤣

WTI back up to $87.

I sold all my oil near the top , which was a good trade overall, the likes of SLB and DVN still below where I sold....

But VLO held ground and has now ripped to ATH's. That stock continues to be a champ.

PLTR had an up day on Monday while the market was down.

Then was down yesterday while the market, and specifically tech, was up big. Thought that was odd.

Down again today, and below $130 again.

61x price to sales. Still very expensive.

I'm in it, probably too early( more like too late, but ya know).

Reports 8/3.

Google's earnings tonight.

J Brown was talking about how they are the most important call this qtr.

If they can show revenue increasing due to all the AI spend the market could take the next step up.

If not......

TSLA tonight as well.

Momentum in this market is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Then you look at Wall Street earnings from trading, leveraged ETFs, etc. and it all makes sense. Algo trading was always a problem for average investors/traders but now AI agents and leveraged trading strategies have f’d up this market for anyone that’s not nimble enough to get in and out of positions - and good luck with the old buy and hold individual Stocks unless you are holding the boring stuff that barely moves. I’ve had long positions that are not even AI driven drop 30% in a matter of days on zero news. Even CNBC analysts are starting to hint at market dysfunction. Was laughing when someone talked about Corning debacle where I was similarly up huge when it hit $280…Two days later it was down almost 40% although I escaped with modest profit.

On a different note, Blackrock’s answer to QQQ could be a solid investment = IQQ just launched with lower fees and at a better price point for retail traders that gasp at QQQ over $700 (purely optics)

GLW is still up a triple over the past year.

I'd think that historically that is pretty standard volatility on such a rip.

I hear that but approx. $271 down to $150 in a matter of days on no news specific to Corning is not driven by humans making trades. Buddy of mine that’s a former Wall Street trader has made a fortune running trading algos out of his mansion in Jupiter FL. He’s now making more money than ever because AI has allowed him to take his trading game to a new level. NVDA was the first game changer that laid the foundation. And now with DRAM and data center build stocks he’s printing money. Worst of all is he won’t tell anyone the platform he’s using, how he codes the trades, specific stocks he targets, etc. = this all prob sounds like conspiracy theory, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s part of a closed network of traders driving these huge chip moves. Look what Roaring Kitty was able to accomplish with a bunch of novices trading from their basements. The Pros are controlling these big moves.

At $271 it was up 5x in the previous 12 months. You have to accept that leverage drove that up, and can be unwound quickly.

Looks like an ugly start for equities. No real opportunities in fixed income either. Glad I reduced some beta in my portfolio.

I have CLF which has been meh, popping big on earnings. Softening the blow. Only down .65%.

I saw Nasdaq down near 2% and I was worried.

Looking at GOOGL and GLD trades. Perhaps leaps. I'll do some research at lunch and see how the day progresses. GOOGL's earnings were outstanding.....led by blowout cloud growth. This stock is heading to $500.
