Chambliss will be in his 6th year; wouldn't be surprised if he gets years 7 and 8. I wonder if we could talk Tom Brady into doing a couple of years at State.

They can get a job selling cars at Cannon that’s about it…once they are gone it’s on to the next player.

Even if self serving I think he gave those young men some solid advice. Mercenaries are beholding to the highest bidder. One day there won’t be any bidders…there is some inherent value in getting out of the revolving door and finishing something. He probably couldn’t have discussed the value of a useful degree with a straight face…

A lot of them. That’s been going on forever. Not necessarily huge money. But if I’ve got a job & one of the applicants is a former MSU athlete, he’s probably getting hired.

None of that made sense. Was he insinuating that LSU, or whoever, wouldn’t take care of a stellar former player? That ridiculous. Brennen Thompson played one year at MSU and we all love him. Not for just playing for MSU, but for having such a great year.
If either of those players suck this season, they’ll be treated like the trash the fans are. OM ponied up the money and that’s the only reason they stayed. Golding’s spiel reeked of a 16 year old football wannabe captain hyping his team up.
