I get the curiosity behind it but then if you do that what about doing the same for 3 & 4 and 1 & 2??? You are essentially dialing it back to A, AA, AAA.

I know it has been suggested before about just going to 5 classes which I would prefer that over what they are suggesting.

What I think would be interesting to play with is relegation. between Classes 5 & 6, 3 & 4 and 1 & 2.

I went there and they were just thinking that combining Classes 5 and 6 would create better matchups.
There is nothing to prevent those teams from playing each other during the regulaer season

I think we should go to 12 classes. That way, we could give out more trophies. 5 classes is fine..Leave 1, 2, 3, 4 alone. Anything in class 5 and 6 now become Class 5. Once you got 1400 kids, you got enough to pick from even when playing a school with 2200. Most of the huge schools in NOVA are half Mexican anyway and they don't play much football.

The easier fix is to cut out half the teams that make the playoffs. Go back to just 4 playoff games. The top teams from different classes can play during the regular season to draw attention and create excitement. Just look at this yrs big games between C4, C5, and C6. This would also create bragging rights between classifications.

Pray-tell, what are you referring to when you say NOVA? Because that generalization just isn’t mathematically true at most any VA public school.

We can do semantics if you want. The point is, there are many larger schools in Virginia that have often larger Hispanic populations per capita that prefer soccer. Additionally, many of the larger schools in Va that don't have significantly higher Hispanic populations still prefer Olympic sports, so the Class 6 school with 2500 kids in NOVA compared to the Class 5 school in Richmond or Va Beach with 1400 kids doesn't have that much of an advantage in football regarding that large 1000 or 1100 difference in population. Exceptions to the above? Of course, but in large, it holds true. And yes, you know my point is true, but I know your liberal *** is doing your "due diligence" because you received a "sensitive comment."

Yeah, there’s definitely some larger schools with large minority populations. There was just a lot to digest in your very incorrect post. Calm that @SS down guy. No one wants to talk politics with you. It’s all good.

I think six divisions are fine for football where school enrollment makes a big difference in talent available, all other factors being equal. (Which they aren't always, as has been pointed out.) Three or four classes are fine for other sports. It's too diluted with six now.
