Stein on RBs

He knows he has an absolute stable !!

Recall 2007 when around mid year we were down to the fifth string back - of course, that was Derrick Locke! You need numbers at RB in this league.

It doesn't feel at all like lip service to me. Obviously we don't know what the run/pass breakdown will be, but Stein has felt to me this entire time like he's more concerned about having a creative offense that moves the ball, and adapting to the situation. Stoops seemed to be focused more or less on that "run the damn ball" identity. Stein seems like he just wants to move the chains, and whatever the most effective method is based on the defense we're facing on a given Saturday is how he's going to tailor his plan.
