The Juco RB seems to be a tall RB, runs with some speed for a bigger back, and probably needs to get his pad level down a bit, as he appears in some clips to enter the line kind of upright.
Positional eligibility. Five years to play at safety. Five years to play at running back. I don't make the rules.
Don’t think so. Was talking about it yesterday and Stein used a lot of RBs at Oregon last year. We used three which is basically what everyone’s used to seeing this past decade.
Like the optimism. Injury history of these guys is of concern. I'll prefer to think more like you than my own opinion
Appreciate the breakdown. With how good our line is going to be, I really want our star back to be able to play. I think CJ could be the difference in a win or two this year if he’s healthy.
I think so. But we are all learning that an Offensive minded HC is likely to stack offensive positions. I am hoping he is just stacking, but with both of our heralded RB's having injury concerns, this is a concern.
Carter was playing RB in the spring. We know our backs have a history of injuries. I think Stein is building depth.
And, or we got a couple of decent backup RB/ST guys on the cheap
They need depth there even if Baxter is healthy all year.
That's a good point that I'm still trying grasp with the increased roster spots/constantly changing rules.
Welcome aboard to both of these guys and let's go!
Hoping a couple of these RBs can catch it out of the backfield and we do utilize them in our passing game.
That is the hope.
