Mom should be in jail.
Step dad should be in jail.
Girl should have been taken to get OB care, where an OB should have called the police and protective services.
Girl should have been allowed the option for abortion.
Hopefully that poor girl has a safety net to go to and doesn't end up in a cycle of foster care, which can lead to even more abuse than she's received.

He was sentenced to life in prison. So that's good.
This is so awful. Public executions should be brought back for these offenders.
Very sad and this happens in all 50 states way way way way more than people realize …and what folks do not understand about rape victims and the tragedy of banning abortion and complications of parent consent.
And before I judge the mom, I would add many times the mother too has been sexually abused and has known nothing else than fear and obey from the patriarch. Grooming.
