My favorite is the one where you **** in your hand and throw it at the other team.

Would it be considered somewhat of a Christian cheer when one of our boneheaded coaches or players made a totally dumb call or play and we all stood and yelled "Jesus Christ" in unison ?

Some say "We got some Dawgs up in here! Woof! Woof!" but I say, "We got some God-awful cheers!"
I enjoyed that cheer back in the day. I was at the pep rally where they introduced the cheer...but I agree its kind of lame.

The surprise thing to me is that Miami copied it, and still uses it. I heard them chanting it during the Championship game. They change "dawgs" to "canes", and "woof" to "whoosh"...which somehow makes it worse.

You're gonna get hit, You're gonna get hit!

Nailed it. I had this two-sided poster out and ready on my couch as I watched us get demoralized by Nebraska in the 1980 Sun Bowl.

And just like every other time this song has been posted, I will complain that the current version of the maroon-white cheer needs an ending. We just do "maroon" and "white", back and forth, until people get disinterested and it peters out lamely. Someone needs to come up with something - NOT Bulldog Blitz - but some other phrase to cap it off. I'm not smart enough to think of it, but someone should.

My alltime favorite came from Senator Stennis, who was a State Cheerleader in 1920. He was at our homecoming pep rally in 1982 while he was running for his final term as Senator.

Our HC game was against Auburn, but Stennis made us all do this cheer:

Ramma
Jamma
Ala-
Bama

BAH!!

Each line yelled out about as slowly as you would expect from an 81 year old man.

The team was so inspired, they won the first three quarters of the game.

As a kid, it didnt get any better than leaving the stadium after a win and traversing down the ramps, and hearing someone celebrating with "We've got some dogs up in here, to which all that could hear would reply with woof, woof".

From our A&M days we used to have a cheer that went:
Agriculture, Horticulture, beds made of straw
Will Ole Miss beat us? Hells fire naw!
