in early stages of recovering from complete reverse shoulder surgery, and yes, cannot wait for late August to get here.
LOL not sure i want to miss early and mid-August activities.

What are your thoughts on Mt Airy? It's been quite this off season. Should be some competitive games in conference.

king bd, Mt Airy will be a complete surprise this year in my opinion. No great starts, not loaded with exceptional talent, but loaded with a schedule that absolutely insures 2, maybe 3, even possibly 4 definite losses.

From that point the Bears could be anywhere from downright awful to pretty doggone good.

When I moved back to Mt Airy in1982, someone told me the thing about MA football over the years was the excellent coaching staff. No matter what the talent level the coaching staff would pull out one to 3 wins no one expected.

Holder and Adkins were both great coaches and had outstanding talent.
This year, I believe will be a test of coaching as much as Mt Airy has had in YEARS.
If this staff is as smart as many believe and has matured, then Mt Airy could be pretty good.
Not State Championship good, but compete for the conference title.
