Actually the conversational AI tools (i.e. ChatGPT) are really around text and images. Connecting to a SQL or other database is some work to setup in your program around the prompt engineering. This is not total rocket science, but also not simple to put together.
It could be much worse. I’d take that as a small win.They all tell me to go f*ck myself.
I’ve used ChatGPT. I submitted a series of records for it to reference when I queried it. It didn’t respond correctly. I corrected it and asked it to respond again but there were still errors.

Most AI that I’ve tried is “conformist.” It reassures you as opposed to challenging you. That’s a troubling trend. There have already been instances of AI influencing suicides.
You can set preferences to make sure it doesn’t do that.
ChatGPT is good for general things. Claude is better for writing.
