3rd place game was today. Glorified exhibition & apparently played like that. England beat France 6-4. Now they can all get a 3-week break before reporting to camp for next season.

Pat, are you going to Nashville? I wanted to, but it’s a bit pricy and the big guns probably won’t feature. I’m reluctantly passing.

Nope. It’s a preseason exhibition. I’ll hold off for a trip to Liverpool for a real game after I retire.

Yeah, it would be a trip to see the red shirt. I saw it once, U18 team in Memphis. The only one that ever featured in the senior team was Jay Spearing. He played few games as a sub, and maybe started a cup game or two.

If there is one thing I have learned over the years, pay no attention to transfer rumors. Wait for signatures before getting excited....or upset.

If you thought football recruiting rumors were unreliable........ I'm of the opinion that a lot of the "almost done" transfer rumors are deliberate misinformation.
