Seems to be a complete non-issue. Don’t really think it’s good or bad. He was just an analyst / consultant.

To answer your question, either Montgomery or Drive-Thru.
What if Montgomery ends up being the guy we needed but never knew it? Takes over in interim, reels off 4 in row, galvanizes our shltty fanbase, goes on a run and stays here 10 years.
Good for him. He had a big impact when we first hired him under Mullen. He’s earned his retirement

Then were likely going to be in the same scenario we are in this year each year. Decent staff but would put us at 40/60-50/50 making a bowl each year
I’d take it.
A 10 year coach at State usually means we’ve had some 7-8-9, maybe a 10 win season and 9-10 wins gets us in the playoffs.
In 5 years it may be a 16 team playoff?
