I don't think I've ignored anybody but I don't remember. I like reading all takes on a subject, even if once I've read it I'm certain the poster ate one too many tide pods. Hopefully, I haven't caused anybody to want it ignore my posts unless they're tired of seeing me ask for donations and sponsorships.

There are people who participate in discussions solely to provoke reactions. They aren't interested in making coherent arguments or engaging in good-faith conversation; their goal is simply to be contrarian and stir up conflict. It's immature behavior—either deliberate trolling or a genuine inability to engage thoughtfully.
I've blocked those people because responding is a waste of time either way. If they're trolling, that's exactly the attention they want. If they sincerely can't reason beyond that level, there's little to be gained from arguing with them.
