Sheena Bellows was the democratic nominee for US Senate in 2014. Susan Collins demolished her, 67% to 31%. The DSCC is hapless

How did this woman get elected to statewide office? She is currently secretary of state

The governor of Maine straight up sux. No wonder she only got 20% vs Platner. She also recently vetoed a data center moratorium bill. The DSCC is a joke

Troy Jackson or bust

The key point is how consistent the numbers are for Collins. Never more than 45 percent. Some of those people have low name recognition even in Maine, and they are still within striking distance of an incumbent who has been elected 5 times.
That's a staggering level of desire for someone else.

Now we have to hope that the party establishment respects the will of the voters. The corporate democratic establishment hates its base and isn’t known for actually being democratic. They’re big on telling us who our nominee will be.

This isn’t decided until Jackson is the nominee.
