About the same as MC.How many D1 offers does East Side have on the field this year?
I don't bet and I can NEVER figure out what that means. Are you saying MC should be getting 2.5 points?ESL -2.5
Don't @ me
ESL's 300-pound line and superior three-headed running attack will likely lead the Flyers past DoDo Brown on the ground. I do think DDB will have to revert ro running because Flyers DBs are collectively superior to what MC has at WR.Side bet
What teams running back will get more all purpose yards?
You once started a whole thread about a Flyer getting an offer to mighty Lehigh so why not one on the lineA thread about East Side's outsized O-line.
And they return a two-year starter at QB to feed camp stud Ronnie Gomiller, 4.37-running Laron Baker and 2028 UA All American Jahmori Ware, among others. Then there is MJC, Amir Tillman and Ahmad Coleman in the backfield.
Fley will score in bunches. Do not fall behind.
When the QB got an offer. QB offers ar diffferent. You once started a whole thread about a Flyer getting an offer to mighty Lehigh so why not one on the line![]()
I'm sure he is very good. They always have good QBs. Last time we faced Pops in his 4th year in a row starting....Luckily MC returns their entire secondary who last year faced and beat the reigning Mr. Ohio now at Kentucky, D1 QBs in Jonas Williams (USC), Johnny O'Brien ( Northwestern) CJ Gray (Army) in addition to QBs from Fenwick, Nazareth, and twice vs Loyola, so they have seen great before. When the QB got an offer. QB offers ar diffferent.
BTW, last year Reece had 2912 total yards, 2602 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 3 rushing touchdowns, 12 games played, 2 games missed (separated shoulder), Completion rate 71%
They have plenty of good QBs to choose from at least. Last year Dowling had some worried in his first year as a starter and you can see his numbers in an above post. Whoever the QB is will be blessed with the same receivers and running back he had last year.MC has everything except a QB…
this is a legit heavyweight prize fight, I can’t wait
Dowling was also lying in wait, QB1 this year could be someone who wasn't even in the building last year. They have plenty of good QBs to choose from at least. The Battle Continues....also Dowling part IV will be the Freshman QBDowling was also lying in wait, QB1 this year could be someone who wasn't even in the building last year.
If, in fact the battle is still on going with the game now just about a month away you don't worry about the three of them still splitting first team reps? What is the deadline for you for a decision to be made so that whoever becomes QB1 can focus on the ESL game plan? The Battle Continues....also Dowling part IV will be the Freshman QB
If anyone would know, I'd put my money on you! For not attending ESL you know an absurd amount about their program. Did you have kids that played for them?I wonder how many hundreds of passes Shanklin has thrown to his guys in these past three years - and three weeks during 7v7 tours.
To be fair, the MC D got stronger as the year progressed
MC has everything except a QB…
What is the deadline for a decision?

More than likely, but if not, as the saying goes, if you have more than one starting QB, you have none.I'd be surprised if it hasn't been made. And nothing wrong with having a good backup or two.

You're really looking too far into this. They have a Heisman Finalist Quarterback with an amazing reputation for developing QB's as their head coach. His last four quarterbacks all went to D1 schools. I know it's stating the obvious but he's got 5 Rings in 7 Seasons, Lynch knows what he's doing. They are in shells right now getting equal reps, he will make the decision when they go to pads and if it's wrong or if injury occurs he has 3 outstanding options ready to roll. Having multiple reliable options at the most important position is a problem any Coach would love to have. And sorry to beat the dead horse here but they have 2 nationally ranked WR's and a D1 WR as a third option along with a D1 RB who had 600 receiving yards last season. They'll be OK....As a fan I have zero doubt they will be ready week 1.More than likely, but if not, as the saying goes, if you have more than one starting QB, you have none.
I was surprised one hasn't left, it's a credit to the school and program. Although possible, as you mentioned, transferring at this point and going to a school blind to their playbook, system and zero reps or time to synch with their skill positions they would basically be sacrificing this season or a portion of it as a backup unless the school is desperate for a QB so they might as well stay put. Elliott can play for the Sophomore team and get all the playing time he needs and if they need to call him up, he will be ready if they chose that route with him.Having four quarterbacks of nearly equal skill is not a liability but an asset. Although it is always possible that one will enter the portal for greener pastures.
I'm not questioning Lynch, just pointing out that over the last however many years QB1 was known at this point going into the season. When was the last time MC had a legit QB competition? As Silver Rain said, it's likely already been determined, just not announced, but in the event it hasn't I'd be a bit nervous as an MC fan. You're really looking too far into this. Plainfield E QB has faced ESL and even lead the Bengals to a lead in the 1st qtr against the Flyers, without any top recruits as teammates, just the neighborhood kids and the GOAT as a coach.I'm not questioning Lynch, just pointing out that over the last however many years QB1 was known at this point going into the season. Yes, whoever starts will have plenty of weapons and support around him, but the ESL game will be his first game and the only game where the DBs will be able to go toe to toe with the MC WRs.
It would be very surprising if they are able to keep all 4 QBs. In today’s transfer heavy climate, it would buck the trend. You do this on purpose I think....Yeah God forbid they come out of the gate with a W like they did against Moeller.....or do you mean they started slow out of the gate to start the game? Because they got out to a 14-0 lead....you have mentioned their performance in this game so many times. They won plain and simple. Three new starters in the defensive backfield going against the returning Ohio Player of the Year Quarterback in the first game of the season and they won. This year all 4 DBs are back. They'll be fine, and if they lose to ESL nobody will be shocked with all they have back. Flyers RB signed a deal with Nike today.MC better not come out of the gate like they did against Moeller…
this is a big game
