BELL COUNTY, Texas — A former Temple High School substitute teacher has been charged with four counts of improper relationship between educator and student and two counts of sexual assault of a child, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by 6 News.
Keara Michelle Brady, a former substitute teacher with Temple ISD, faces four counts of improper relationship between educator and student and two counts of sexual assault on a child. She was arrested by police in San Antonio, but her warrant was issued by a Bell County judge. The affidavit alleges Brady sexually assaulted at least four students on or around April 14.

The affidavit said Bell County Crime Stoppers received a tip on April 20 alleging Brady was engaged in an improper relationship with a 17-year-old student. The tip included screenshots of social media messages investigators described as sexual in nature, according to the affidavit.
Temple Police Department officers contacted Brady, who denied the allegations. Investigators sent preservation requests and administrative subpoenas to social media companies seeking records related to Brady's accounts, according to the affidavit.
Police also requested subscriber data from the account Brady was alleged to have been speaking with as described in the tip, per the affidavit.

Investigators determined Brady had been exchanging messages with an account registered to a person named Alonzo. According to the affidavit, investigators learned the phone number associated with the account belonged to the mother of a 16-year-old Temple High School student.
While speaking with investigators, the 16-year-old student said he had a sexual relationship with Brady. The student said Brady had substituted for one of his classes and then shared her Snapchat and Instagram accounts with students, according to the affidavit.
The 16-year-old provided names of other male students who allegedly had sex with Brady, per the affidavit.

According to the affidavit, Brady and the student met at Brady's apartment on 31st Street in Temple on April 14, where she sexually assaulted the student.
Investigators also interviewed a 17-year-old student who told police he had a sexual encounter with Brady that included oral sex, according to the affidavit.

Both students told investigators Brady instructed them and other students to deny knowing her if police questioned them, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit also describes interviews with two additional students investigators identified as victims.1784233969071.jpeg
