She had visible marks on her that corroborated the story, which gave the officers enough probable cause to charge and arrest him.
Now, if he were to have been arrested with zero evidence, that would be something. But that’s not the case here unless she caused those damages to herself. (Not out of the question with psychotic people)
The truth of the matter is most of these cases are dropped because the victim, for a lack of kinder words, is an idiot. Ask any police officer, social worker, lawyer. It happens far too often.

No don’t get me wrong I still think striking a woman is wrong under most circumstances. If a woman slaps me I won’t slap her back because I think that’s wrong. I was using ( Tiger woods ) story as an extreme situation where I think force would be justified.
I'm not sure he's an upgrade of Nelson. After watching clips he looks like a "solid" in between the tackles runner. Lacks breakaway speed but physically looks the part of BIG RB. Shows pretty good balance and power. Quickness is just average imo and speed doesn't stand out at all on tape. Comparison wise he looks like a less explosive version of Jamal Rule just watching his HS clips.
Physically he looks the part for sure but I don't expect him to just be a "dude" based on clips I've seen. He is a depth piece I think. I don't think Nelson is gone either fwiw.
If I was ranking the backs I'd have him behind Nelson, Rule and Mozee based on video I've seen. Probably better than Booth and Ives who imo aren't even legit options at RB imo.
