Might be a backup fit for SEC games because he had ACL Surgery in February & probably can go full speed by January if his knee heals according to schedule?
5 in 5 gives him 3 more years of eligibility. ReHab for his type of surgery is 8 to 12 months.

Definitely a risk but I think being the last roster spot it would be worth a chance if he could help in the SEC season at the first of the year. Obviously it’s another injury situation but this time of the year talent like him is hard to find.
If there’s a chance to get Cameron Houindo, gotta go with him. Don’t think Pope can take another chance on an injured player this year

Zags make sense after losing starting guard going back overseas. And Miami because it’s closer to home.
No need for this guy at all. Of course the staff needs to do their due diligence and make contact (you never know when a guy really wants to come to your school, is a steal in NIL dollars against the market, or otherwise a bonus pick up). But Houindo or a backup big (even a developmental one) should definitely be the real focus. I think we can survive at the guards positions if we take an injury there (though obviously worse), but if Kepnang can't stay healthy, I'm not sure we can finish in the top half of the SEC unless Potter somehow turns into Nikola Jokic while backing up Moreno.
Is Acaden Lewis going to be happy if this former Mich PG lands in Miami?
