Gave us some huge thrills, taking us back to the big dance after a thirty year absence, then making it to the G League, and then through continued perseverance and performance is ultimately rewarded with a guaranteed NBA contract with the storied Boston Celtics.

Congrats RHJ — proud to call you a Rutgers alum.

It's really cool to see Ron have this kind of success. Maybe he's third to pops and Dylan, but he's still a one in a million talent. Very happy for him.

"Ron Harper Jr. signed a 4 year, $13,704,229 contract with the Boston Celtics, including $6,459,042 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,426,057. In 2026-27, Harper Jr. will earn a base salary of $3,150,752, while carrying a cap hit of $3,150,752 and a dead cap value of $3,150,752."

The 3rd year is guaranteed if they keep him after 7/7/28. 4th year is not.

Either way he's getting paid now for 2 years. He doesn't have to sweat it out week to week instead just hoop.
