***CC22 and the Fever mega thread***

You know it’s coming…after all, it’s a game of runs (as Stephanie likes to say ALL THE TIME).
She only got free throws. We didn't get ball too. I suppose they called a common foul for landing spot. Not flagrant. So, after so many words, I may be wrong.
Yes, because CC has never been known to flop.
CC with just those 2 early turnovers trying to push the ball up the floor. Boston the only other one with a turnover in that 1st half.
Good job of taking care of the basketball, and Fever are moving the ball. Also, in all fairness, there's a lot of tough contested shots being made in the paint on both sides.
Aja still benefits greatly from being the tallest player on the floor, even though she is competent handling the ball long enough to get downhill from the wing/elbow.
Been fun watching Aliyah go at her and the Aces defense like she's got something to prove tonight.
Nobody else from the Fever has been demonstrably bad tonight outside of some poor help and angles defending screens, and opening their hips to let downhill drivers get around them for layups. Even Caitlin was guilty of that the first time she got backed down. My guess is she let up a bit to protect her back. After that first back down where she held her ground, you could see her open up a little the second time like a business decision was being made.

This is the best I've seen the Fever play in some time.
She doesn’t stay down after a flop…if you can’t tell the difference, I can’t help you.
I think the D is still a big problem. Aces shooting 51 percent. And the Fever with a few silly fouls. But Fever with plus 18 from behind the arc. And they are finding spots to run and push tempo. And as mentioned low turnovers.
Which, somehow, is about 50 times better than she is with the ball in the open floor.
Too many of CC's threes are fading back or to the side.
No Raven or MHA so far. Steph shortening the bench?
It's also crazy the difference in how much effort she has to put into her 3 pt shots now just to get the WNBA ball to the hoop compared to her freshman year in college.
That aspect has nothing to do with how she's being guarded.
I just don’t think her 3 pt shot is reliable at all… it’s not translating to the WNBa. Not sure it’s tenable to keep shooting fadeaway and sideways 3s at a 33-34 percent clip. Less 3s more play making.
I think Harris is a LOT better than Raven and I'm fine with her getting all those mins until RJ can slow down a bit.
Sophie absolutely COOKING from deep
Sophie is swishing threes. She has to get that shot up quickly, but, unlike CC, she is getting set and aimed straight at the hoop, which greatly helps. We rarely see Sophie fade when shooting.
Vegas started the quarter on a 7-0 run and the Fever came back to win the quarter 21-16
I really really really disliked Kelsey Mitchell when she played at Ohio State against Iowa. Now I really like Kelsey Mitchell. I wonder what changed?
What was that pass by CC? That was a really careless and really needs to clean that sh*t up
Most amazing part about this game is that the Fever have seemed to recover from the disastrous loss of Justine Pissott.
Pretty impressive performance by the Fever tonight. The Aces beat the Mercury by 50 last night.
I think the Aces arms are tired from all the shots they took last night.
They need attractive players too. Helps sell tickets to a certain demographic.
The sad thing is I'm only half joking...........
