Was it "fan toxicity" that got those wins vacated or was it due to KF getting caught cheating in recruiting a broken QB Michigan didn't want?

At the time the toxic behavior was taking place, Iowa was in the last season of KF's winningest stretch at Iowa.

The hall of fame shares my opinion that KF deserves praise.
Even if there might be a certain criticism of KF that may be somewhat reasonable, tell me, why does KF deserve to be criticized, as a football coach?

"Cheating " is a relative term here. Your right, Michigan had already told him he wasn't coming back on their roster since their doctors didn't okay his surgery. Hard to steal some guy from a school who wasn't going to allow him to come back, don't you think? I agree, I just still bristle at the uneven playing field because your coaching at one school or the other. Not only would Iowa not have worried about it if they had cut a guy loose, but Michigan would NEVER have self reported it.
