I don’t think so. The mindset of a lot of those players like Robinson and Kerr who was sold to UK fans as this fantastic exciting player. Not a chance. Such a weak mindset. Roobinson wouldn’t do what the team needed. Nope that team wasn’t close to any success. We got smashed with a pretty healthy team by UT. As long as pope is coach we aren’t making a ff. Pope needs to show first game out that the team respects him, demonstrate last year was a complete fluke. If the team ever quits on him again like last year’s Gonzaga, I support mid season coaching change. If they are 3rd or worse in the SEC, I can wait until the end of the year.

I always felt like his biggest issue might’ve stemmed from the fact he didn’t necessarily grow up with basketball like someone from the states. I think if he can hold a roster spot he will just get better and better. If he could also just develop a 3 point shot he would have a very long career.

That team had a great chance. A healthy Butler and Robinson and I believe Carr would have been a force if not for his injuries.
