Just a big thanks to the wardrobe folks for this video. Also this is actually live audio.

If she stood and read the 1980 NYC phone book in that outfit, I would be transfixed for hours.

A Jukebox without a theme? smh

I haven't done birthdays in a Jukebox thread for several months, and I always enjoy resurrecting board processes or traditions, so the following are my return to that.

Friday (7/10) is the birthday of Dave Smalley. He was the rhythm guitarist and later the bassist of the Raspberries. The group was basically a combination of two Cleveland-area bands. The Mods, which changed their names to the Choir, were a successful regional band that was on the scene until they disbanded when Smalley was drafted and went to Vietnam. Cyrus Erie was the other popular band in the area. After some personnel changes, they changed their name to the Quick. Some members of the two groups eventually joined together to form the Raspberries in 1970. Smalley was not a founding member of the group, but he joined them in 1971 when he returned from Vietnam. He was with them during most their period of greatest success ('71-'74), though he was booted from the band late in '73 due to musical differences (they had changed their type of music on their 3rd album). To celebrate, their song that attained the highest ranking:

Saturday (7/11) is the birthday of Richie Sambora. He was a guitarist and songwriter for Bon Jovi for 35 years. And while doing that, he dated Cher and was married to Heather Locklear for 13 years. Not too bad for a kid from New Jersey. To celebrate, one of Bon Jovi's top songs:

Think of it this way- A jukebox thread without a theme is another way to embrace Freedom.
It was started as a place to replay and share the songs you literally fed coins into a box to play in the Skeller and other SC bars. The only theme there was inebriation. I think Herman's Hermits - I'm Henry VIII I Am was the first song I posted.

Monday (7/13) is the birthday of Mark Glickman. He's more commonly know by his stage name, Mark "The Animal" Mendoza. He was not a member of Silver Star, or with the group when they changed their name to Twister Sister. However, he was with the group when they recorded their albums, and had their greatest amount of success. To celebrate:
