You will likely see more of this. The Longhorns get him for two years and Spears will make $8MM-$10MM.

Same with UCLA and Nikola Kusturica who is projected to be the #1 player in the 2028 draft.

While I think these amounts are wildly inflated, they are still significant. The fact that these boosters are still out here willingly funding this stuff tells me that this model is in fact, sustainable.
Every other sec fanbase is willingly embracing nil and seeing results. 5 years later ours is still arguing if it’s sustainable or not and then get upset at the talent difference we see on Saturdays

This little group of message board heroes aint 1/100th of the fan base. Maybe you should write an oped in the Starkville/Columbus/West Point print news and see if you can convince the families of 4 earning $60000 or less per year to donate a couple hunerd a month to pay late teens to play sports for Dear Ol’ State.

Those of us now living on fixed incomes afforded us by Retirement, dont have the expendable cash. But you can give as much as you would like.
