With all due respect, leaving Burns off this 4A list is crazy. That being said, pretty good representation from the Southern Piedmont.

I've enjoyed reading all the posts from down your way this offseason. Great opening salvo! Right now everybody is one big happy family. Folks are complimenting each other's teams, wishing everyone good luck, and acting like football is just one big fellowship. Even Oscar the Grouch has managed to say a few nice things about everything going on...well...except for gauntlet conferences and Reidsville.HOEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By November, the annual Message Board Excuse Generator will be running at full capacity.
We'll start seeing:
- "We would've beaten y'all by three touchdowns."
- "Your conference is weak."
- "If we played your schedule, we'd be undefeated too."
- "We lost our running back."
- "We lost our quarterback."
- "We lost our 260-pound All-World defensive tackle."
- "We lost an assistant coach."
- "We lost the water boy."
- "The referees..."
- "We're peaking at the right time."
- "We're finally playing like a team."
- "Just wait until next year."
Meanwhile, somebody actually has to line up, block, tackle, catch, run, and win six straight playoff games.
That's the funny thing about football. The message boards crown dozens of champions every year. The scoreboard only crowns one.

That is great and they are really fast from what I can remember from last year. I love to see the local kids get a chance to play after high school. A lot of love for Shelby, Lincolnton, and Burns (very deserved) Kind of a backhanded compliment for Cramer. I love it, especially for our coach. He will take it as motivation.

It may go down just like this but I put no stock into this guy. He puts out all kinds of stuff using AI. He has Hibriton going 5-5 and they will go 8-2 at worst and maybe 10-0 with the schedule they play (Beamer that is not a shot at you guys, but I know you will admit some of those teams up your way are a little down at the moment). He has Brevard going 10-0 again which I have heard that won’t come close to happening. He also has Burns and Shelby going 0-4 against KM and Crest to start the season and I am willing to bet if anyone wants to, that doesn’t happen.
Sure hope BlueDevil1992 is correct in his prediction, but with at least 4 of the teams we play I don’t think we can afford to be that optimistic.
