I think I'd like to change my answers on the favorite LBs question.
Enjoyed that. Not sure how I got to read it. Most Athletic articles I get are behind a paywall.
KJ was one of my favorites. Unique linebacker with those long octopus arms.

Some of you may have remembered this story I told about KJ. Olive Branch was playing at rival Southaven and KJ played DE and sometimes at LB. On one series, he did the following...........
First Down Tackled the RB on a sweep for a loss
2nd Down Sacked the QB for a loss
3rd Down Blocked a pass at the LOS
4th Down Blocked the punt and recovered the ball.
At that time, no one had any idea he'd be recruited by a D1 football school. He was 6'4" and a lean 220 lbs.......but very fast with quick instincts. I was sitting with my son and turned to tell him......"Man, I wish KJ played for Miss. State". The rest is history.

The first time I saw him at State my first impression was “freak athlete”
Seems he was underestimated at every stage of his career and just kept overcoming it. Still doing it. I wouldn’t bet against him becoming an NFL HC.
