Good discussion by BC analyst on where Lonergan fell short last year, starting around the 7:00 to 7:30 mark. Good listen- @RUTGERS95 and @PSAL_Hoops
I watched this on the ferry. right after I sit down at 5.30 am, I pull up the knight report to see if anything is there lol

kid is young in terms of experience, nothing here concerns me accept the lingering injury. we'll be fine, despite 'playing hurt' he still looked pretty good at times. he needs more time but remember the jump AK took last year

I’ll add that the TKR footage of every throw from Lonergan doesn’t really scream “red flag” to me on the blitz the way BC’s media guy made it out. I didn’t see major signs of Lonergan holding the ball too long or freezing. Yeah - there were a couple fumbles right before he lost the job where it looked like he panicked at the ensuing blitz. And while he didn’t throw a ton of picks there were a couple daggers in there with pressure coming - but again, when you watch the film it seemed like the OL broke down and/or BC was outcoached scheme wise. I guess what I’m trying to say is the hope would be that in those situations Lonergan would’ve just held onto the football and taken the sack - it didn’t really seem like there was time for him to have scrambled to make something out of nothing or even thrown the ball away cleanly. He was hit pretty quickly from what I saw.

Does the "L" in PSAL stand for "Lonergan"? 😜

Just a joke, don't take offense.

I agree with you. Very few QBs with his level of experience are grace under pressure. And every single QB has their bad moments and throws under pressure. Some more than others. For a team like BC (and for that matter, Rutgers), we fans can be very demanding and critical of every single mistake.

agree
he stood in pocket, moved well, took his hits but thought his pocket presence was good

also agree on the OL and overall team.
