I think he took an unofficial visit with us last year during the season
How does he compare to Trent Noah as a HS player ?

Article I saw has him far lower than that, but that might be from lack of exposure, But...that school he's transferring to has churned out high level D1 recruits, so they must see something in him, and he will get exposure now. He currently has mid-major offers, his goal is clearly to upgrade that to power conference schools. Doubt that gets as high as UK level, but if he's good enough, he'll have a better chance to show it.He's ranked higher than Trent; he's a 4 star and Trent was a 3 star. But he's probably near the 3/4 cutoff and I think Trent just missed being a 4 star.
Or maybe a combo of Paul Andrews UK and Phil Cox Vandy. Not the same type playing style, or build but a Richie Farmer ceiling and floor.
I'm going to EKU or Morehead State if I'm that kid. Chase the money, young man. He’s good but he ain’t Prolific Prep good. He’s a Morehead St., Belmont type kid.
Yep. Ball out for a year then bank a ton to be OK at a major school. This is the way.I'm going to EKU or Morehead State if I'm that kid. Chase the money, young man.
I like those kind of players.I’ve watched him play 5-6 times his soph year and can say this about him. Great shooter, played PG but really is a 2. Not skinny. He’s a gym rat and getting out into the world will prove his worth. Best player to come out of the Mountains since John Pelphrey. Not flashy but reminds me of Kyle Macy doesn make turnovers and makes open shots. I think he is player
Rupp would have wanted. Plays an old school game like Jimmy Dan Conner, Jim Lemaster, Larry Conley. It’s hard to average 30+ points a game in any place. I think he 6’5”. But maybe taller now.
I would agree with that. He is a step slow. Very creative scorer , just very slow and playing against slow competition. I think he is a mid major talent but we will see? If he can score at prolific maybe hes better than we think? He’s good but he ain’t Prolific Prep good. He’s a Morehead St., Belmont type kid.
I sat courtside for several games at the peach jam. The size and speed of these kids is unreal. Every shot at the rim is challenged and getting there is tough to do. This is not even a great class this year, but these slow plodding players will have trouble against the length that these kids have. If kentucky is trying to cut down nets then i don't think you can do it with Keithley types of players. Pitino was a genius at working these types of kids in his system, but weve yet to see Pope be able to do that ( not saying he wont). I am not bashing the kid, he may prove me wrong but he is not a quick twitch athlete and those guy struggle in the SEC.I like those kind of players.
