I wouldn't necessairly call the Trump Accounts "socialism" but they are absolutely a government-funded benefit using taxpayer dollars to seed private investment accounts. If my son (13) had qualified for the $1k deposit, we'd probably have opened one. He doesn't, so there's really no benefit. FWIW, not every government benefit is socialism and not every use of taxpayer dollars is inherently bad.
We get these daily, many times multiple, updates on stupid shiit Trump has done and our resident MAGA celebrate these blunders.
