Again. Why do Dems want to raise taxes? Let's get rid of the fraud and see where we land.
Medicare claims for tissue and organ transplants surged 7,100% from $200 million to $14.4 billion between 2019 and 2025, sparking fraud probes.

Honestly
@30CAT ...I wouldn't be surprised if fully 65 to 75% of Medicare payments are straight fraud. The other 25 to 35% is wasteful overpayments or overcharges for services delivered. It is just a giant money laundering operation for Insurance companies, hospitals, care providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and fleecing from taxpayers to fund it all. I'm waiting for the candidate who runs on a platform of shutting it all down, and replacing it with true free market based competition.
I just recently was forced to sign up for Medicare at least (I still have my private insurance) but my employer based health care provider said I'd face severe penalties if I didn't at least sign up for Medicare, even if I don't plan to use it! I thought...well ins't that convenient? Not only are we all forced to pay into the scam money laundering operation while we're still working, we get penalized if we don't sign up for it too!
They've got a captive audience that they can use to bleed you dry even if you don't use it. No wonder there is so much fraud in it, no one has any incentive to reduce costs...only grow the scam with more "customers".
