Not sure what you’re expecting. The 2027 class is likely full, and 28s haven’t even talked to coaches yet.
I thought he was the bigger more talented one. With Harvey not living up to all the hype last year, I’m surprised he didn’t come back this year and compete for the spot. Maybe academics?
If you don’t think Harvey lived “up to the hype” what do you call a guy wrestling at a lower weight who got stuck by SDSU’s 3rd stringer?

This! I thought he was starting to look better at the end of the year. Outside of Kyle Snyder name a 197lber that came in as a true freshman not a redshirt that came into that weight and was a major factor

.Everyone was talking like they expected more out of him before he showed more in his last 2 matches. Don’t pretend we didn’t have a bunch of hand wringers. I think Hutcherson could be one of those special freshman 197, but will be filling in nicely for Barr.
Yeah, Tyrel is 174/184 and Jarell is 184/197. Tyrel is supposed the be the better one, but didn't do too well at Soldier Salute last year. I think he went 2-2 and got pinned twice.
Jarell was the higher ranked one on the Big Board. IMO, they both were still quite raw and needed a lot of improvement before they were the answer.
Just surprised with his twin brother still here, and a young unproven commodity stepping into 197, I thought he may want to come back and. Compete for the spot. He’s not beating out Little this year, unless he’s trying to cut to 184.
Stuck by Wadsen from SDSU at the Worthington Open in January. Looking again, Wadsen was probably more like 2nd string. Doesn't change the point in any way.
