Have no concerns. If the season starts and some major parts of the team fail the eyetest, then concern might be in order. This roster looks like we had around $10M to spend and that we spent in the way Sha wants to play. We look like we have more talent than last year. And options. That should be able to keep pace with the league getting better, I think. Is any of its game-changing enough to get us over the hump and actually improved? That I don’t know yet.
Hope
**I believe Wilcher and Williams will be much better than what we got from the 2 & 4 spots last year, which was bad. So that’s good.
**We have more guys coming in with improved shooting numbers than we’ve had in recent years. So that’s good if it pairs with the same level of defense.
**Morale: This was made into a big point two years ago. Seems good again, albeit only July 6. Sounds like Sha has figured out what to target and the improved money each year allows him the ability to do that? Hoping we were simply desperate in 2024-25 and had to overlook questionable characteristics, IDK.
Concern
**PG: This is an offense for a creator and guy who draws attention with the way Sha plays. This position dominates the ball. Do we have one?
**Impact players: I was high onand felt both Clark + Hines could be at least league-average at their positions in those critical spots with a Sha team being PG (see above) and C (need an anchor with the defensive style). That’s why I too had us a little higher to start last year (albeit 8-12 in BE, LOL!). They were more than that, they were impact players. Do we have enough of them on this roster to make a jump or is it just a better depth of Average Joes?

Any injury will hurt for sure. But we start a center at pf and at c. We have a third center, and we have pfs.My concern would be the lack of big men. One injury and we’re in a tough spot. The advantage over last year “should” be having a legitimate 6”10 shot blocking pick and roll option at the 4 and a back to the basket offensive option at the 5.
Our starting 4 and 5 should be way better than last year but depth is likely gonna be way less at the 5.
That dunk was incredible but he was a frustrating player to root for. The old prototypical Sha player that has made Seton Hall almost unwatchable offensively for his whole tenure. Hoping that starts to change.Femi was a bad shooter, despite stats, however did provide us with one of the most spectacular Seton Hall dunks EVER and against UCONN IN A HUGE WIN
