With each passing day the midterms are not getting further away. He's going to need to figure out an exit strategy VERY VERY soon. But at least the dumocrats are no longer clamoring for the Epstein files to be fully released.

here's my opinion, which I'm sure will be counter to many...If you're going to wage war, than you have to engage with power and actually engage with the intention to win. This entire cease fire thing has been a sham. How do you have an agreement where you stop fighting in return for opening the strait and have the other party, continue to attack ships trying to transit the strait.
I don't know whose idea it was to cease fire, but it was a mistake IMO ( Not saying the original strike was a good idea either). We either turn tail and walk away, or finish the job. No more platitudes about destroying their air force and navy or whatever.
So your 2 options are:
1. Finish the job, which means a large ground force invasion by us troops aka Iraq on a much larger basis vs 600k IRG and all that entails, seizing Tehran and the massive countryside, occupy it and form a new govt. ...a probable 5-8 year project.
2. Walk away without any agreement leaving Iran in charge of the strait of Hormuz.
What a pickle this president has put america in with this asinine stupid decision in Feb.
With those options, I choose #2.
