Is Ted Lasso worth the watch?

Agree with above 2 posters. The first season is absolutely superb, the 2nd is good, but the main creative force behind it (Bill Lawrence) has a tendency to beat things into the ground and that shows in the third.

Hopefully the gap time was enough for some fresh ideas that make another season worth it.

I thought it was good, not great. But worth the watch. If nothing else because everyone else on the planet has watched it, so you need to be able to join in if it comes up in conversation.

Agreed. Scrubs was the same way, the first few seasons were fantastic, but then it wore out its welcome hard by endlessly repeating the same basic gags and lines of dialogue.

Lasso appears to be following a similar arc.

Watch the 1st season, really enjoyed it, then lost complete interest and stopped watching after like the 3rd episode of the 2nd season. Currently watching your friends and neighbors on Apple TV and love it

That show lost me after season 1. I thought season 1 was OK, but season two sucked. Stopped halfway through S2.

Haven't seen it but gotta say, as the show chugs along, I've heard less and less about it. Everyone really talked up the first season, many said the second was very good, and the third? Haven't heard a peep in my circle but yeah, it sounds like a solid show anyway.

Another vote for first season was awesome. Second season started going downhill fast.

I did say I learned a very, very valuable lesson from the show: it was the Christmas episode when the team was eating dinner at the Higgins' house, Sam Obisanya asks Richard Montlaur why he brought a date to a team holiday dinner. Richard simply replies, "The French people believe that having a beautiful woman around is always a good thing."

I'm telling you right now that has never failed. And I recommend it in your business dealings.

It “ended” a few years ago. They are bringing it back now. That’s probably why you didn’t hear about it since it wasn’t on.
